At their July, 9, 2016 monthly meeting, the Democratic Party Committee of Ward 15 (Dorchester) met to consider endorsements in the following races: First Suffolk State Senate, Suffolk County Sheriff, Fifth Suffolk State Representative and Suffolk County Register of Deeds. All candidates for these offices were invited to be interviewed and most availed themselves of the opportunity. The committee acknowledges those that participated with respect and gratitude. After careful consideration the following candidates received the necessary two-thirds majority for the endorsement: 

Linda Dorcena Forry, First Suffolk State Senate 

Steven W. Tompkins, Suffolk County Sheriff

Evandro C. Carvalho, Fifth Suffolk State Representative
